Larry, a distinguished British tabby cat born around January 2007, has served as the Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office at 10 Downing Street since 2011. Though he’s cared for by the staff at Downing Street, Larry isn’t the personal pet of any Prime Minister. Over the years, he’s witnessed six different Prime Ministers come and go—David Cameron, Theresa May, Boris Johnson, Liz Truss, Rishi Sunak, and Keir Starmer. Despite the political changes, Larry remains the true ruler of the residence, ensuring his domain is well-guarded from any unwelcome intruders. 🐾
